the day i turned 30

i awoke to presents. my birthday dress. 

we ate a lil breakfast and opened some cards.
my parents are selling the home in Georgia this summer.
they're off to live on the 36 acres of land they purchased in South Carolina.
something about wanting to play farmers and raise chickens & pumpkins.
it's a beautiful dream. but not before sending me a piece of our beloved home.
a small, signed, piece of wallpaper from the kitchen.
the kitchen, the place we'd gather and talk for hours. ...i'll miss it terribly.


after breakfast we spent the afternoon in the park with the ducks.
God gave me the most perfect Phoenix weather on my day.
high 80's & windy. absolutely perfect.


my benny made sure i had plenty of cards to open at every stop throughout the day.
so many cards from so many friends & family.
i. am. loved.


no birthday is complete without a little shopping, cake & flowers.

many friends, family & benny chipped in to offer me a present that would beat the 30th blues away. 

louis can make turning 30 so much easier! 

i was most definitely loved & spoiled this day.

30 ...it's going to be an amazing year & decade to come.
