its become increasingly apparent to me that we're a tad geriatric. our idea of a good time lately has been breakfast dates. i'd rather get up early and eat than stay up past sundown and venture into the bizarre and socially intimidating scene that is night life. someone needs to intervene and remind us we're still young asap! or perhaps we need to get out of the suburbs. of late i've been in a way of thinking, that i need to move into the city. a city. city living is just what i need to push me back from sixty to thirty. it's always been my dream to find myself living in a city, new york to be exact. ...maybe at sixty.

the weekend pretty much meant we ate and sat and watched. homemade margarita pizzas were our plans saturday night as we watched The Words. it was eh, i wanted it to be much better than it turned out. the pictures were pretty and it made me long to be a french woman but other than that i felt it fell flat. way flat.

hey, have you guys used Trader Joes new gluten free all purpose flour yet?! i used it to make the pizza crust and it turned out to possibly be the best dough i've ever made. i just wish the bag was bigger. hey TJ's get on that for me why don't ya?

  2. Oh my gosh, you're probably going to think I'm nuts! Your blog is absolutely adorable, you have a great sense of style & your pics are beautiful, but what I'm absolutely stoked about is that I've finally found a Christian blogger...not to mention I'm a die-hard fan of Pastor Barnett! So, hopefully now I haven't freaked you out too badly, just wanted to say hi & that you have a new follower! ;)

  5. Hmmm, now I am feeling old too! But I think that's a good thing maybe, that we enjoy life other than being intoxicated and in the presence of maybe social settings which don't really allow us to always be who we really are. And I love your photos which are ordinary, but are unexpectedly beautiful! -Jessica L
